At INTERBOIS, protecting the environment is integrated into the daily routine thanks to:

  • Our use of real wood, a naturally renewable resource, unlike other component materials.
  • Our rigorous choice of suppliers who share our concern for our forest heritage. In addition, we buy raw materials from sustainably managed forests through our certifications from the SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) and the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
  • The optimization and cross-cutting of lower grade sawn boards in-house to obtain jointed pieces satisfying exacting specifications.
  • Our use of alkyd-free primers and certified glues.
  • The manual repair of all moulded discards to avoid waste. 
  • Heat recovery from our machines during the drying of finished products.
  • The agricultural and factory use of our wood discards allowing us to operate without waste.
  • The management of recyclable materials via the recovery of empty cans and disposal of recycling bags.
